UPDATE!
Well, merry Christmas, I just got a call from work. The cymbals were propped up outside a door this morning.... I guess the guilt got to the person after all. Or wait, maybe I just wasn't looking hard enough. I forgot to mention the fact that I was physically inside the garbage dumpsters pulling all the garbage out of THREE dumpsters searching for these things!
The inhumanity of it all, or, fuck those fuckers.

I've been posting that I've been all pissed off and bitter and what not lately, and seeing as Facebooktm doesn't seem to have a space for blogs or paragraphs, I thought I'd explain why I am all pissed off. Mostly, I didn't want it to be perceived that it might be personal, IE aimed at my wife or family, not at all. Kimberlee is my whole life, so to be mad at her would be gay.
So, I recently cracked one of my hi hat cymbals, which in itself is a huge deal ( more on that some other god damned time). Anyone who knows drums or cymbals knows a small crack doesn't stay small, it gets ginormous quickly...especially if you play drums like I do, all retarded and aggressively. SO, I was looking for new/ used hi hats, and Kim found some on Craigslist for a good price. (see above image, that's actual THE fucking cymbals).
After some bullshit, the seller actually brought the cymbals to my place of employment. I couldn't have been happier. They were in great shape. I took them in the basement and as it was slower, thought I'd polish them up quick. I got about half way through, and it got busy in the kitchen. I left the cymbals down there, and ended up leaving at 8 p.m.. As I was driving home, I thought to myself, "that's probably not a good idea", but I put faith in the fact that they would be safe.
Well, as you can probably surmise, they were gone the next morning. Words pretty much escape me anymore. It's like the stupidest, lamest thing in the world, not to mention the LAST thing I would have actually expected. Now, before anyone thinks "Well, you shouldn't have left them there in the first place", I know! I know, I know, I KNOW! It's just bizarre. I put too much stock in the people that I work with (which is idiotic, I have only been there 2 months).
So, that's the reason in a nutshell. $200 flushed down the fucking drain. The shitty thing is, whomever stole the cymbals (outside of being a total fucking flaky, asshole) really can't do too much with them. The few people that I suspect wouldn't have the moxy to take them to a music store to try and sell them. Maybe they know musicians who would benefit from a pair of hi hat cymbals? Who knows. Bottom line, it really sucks. They might as well have stole Christmas presents from my daughter, cause that is what it equates to to me.
I DID file a police report, and if anything comes up, I will gleefully go after whomever it is with every ounce of vengeance I can muster. This kind of thing makes your skin crawl. Thieves are so fucking bottom-dwelling, nasty, lowest common denominator scum. I had a car stereo and a shit load of CD's stole from me once, and that was equally as creepy (although, they did a really nice job of taking the deck out! No scratches or damage to my car...bravo, fuckers!)
So, here's a giant FUCK YOU to the piece(s) of shit that stole my fucking cymbals. I rarely do anything nice for myself, and my wife pretty much had to beg me to buy these. I just feel selfish when there are so many other things we need to spend money on.... Whatever, it's money in the fucking fireplace now, right?

Turkey day, and de bunking the MYTH!
Hi all.... Seeing as I have a bit more free time on my hands, I thought I'd attempt to post a few blogs about all the GD exciting things that go on im my life.
We hosted Thanksgiving for ourselves and a few friends today. everything went extremely well. There was touch of stress (being slightly hungover from cheap tap beer and having only had a few hours of sleep prior didn't help matters), but I was generally really pleased with it all. Especially the god damned mythical beast, the traditional Thanksgiving turkey.
As most of you know, I attended and received my Associates degree from The Culinary Institute of America. That not withstanding, I have always approached the roasting of the turkey to be exactly in line with that of roasting a chicken. In reality, it the same thing, just on a much larger scale. The thing that can mess with a fuckers mind is ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the bullshit, wives tales, internet bullshit, individual interpretation and overall KOONT about the "correct" method to cook the bird. I have to admit, I've only actually had ONE opportunity to 'do' a Thanksgiving turkey, and that was while I was still in the throes of culinary school. My family, god bless them, has never even entertained the thought of their only fucking college gradute to prepare a holiday dinner.... for gosh hecks sake, why would they? (more on that later).
So, as the hour was approaching, I pulled the turkey (which we had pulled from the freezer three god damned days before, and it was STILL icy! FUCKER!!) out of the fridge. I was pulling it out of it's packaging, and on the back it had the "proper preperation" method. Now, according to Jennie-O, that whore of a woman, one is to cook this god forsaken animal 20 minutes per pound! Okay, so a little simple math: our turkey (20#) X 20 minutes = 400 minutes / 60 minutes =6.66 hours. 7 HOURS?!?! Okay, I'm all for not killing folks with food bourne illnesses, but seven fucking hours? no wonder all you idiots have been eating sawdust turkey jerkey all these years! I would've had to put that turkey in at bar time for christs sake!
I chose to go with my insticts and education... about 3.25 hours later, that turkey was bueno. The moral of the story? Don't believe everything you read, and equally important, wives tales are bullshit!
Happy holidays... talk to you soon!

I am a small, small man...
Mad Max-ian existance coming soon!!

I almays though that the Mad max movies were more than just great films. I have this bizzare feeling that with the current global situation, and the gas "crunch" in the states- pretty soon, we're going to be hunting each other for the next gas stop. Doesn't it all make perfect sense?
Beware, muther fuckers, the end is near! And you'd best be wearing fur, feathers, leather or some unique comobonation of all three if you expect to get my fuckin' petrol!

Breaking my Blogger Cherry
I decided I'd start blogging somewhere other than Myspace- I get the distinct feeling that Myspace is like a gigantic, festering petri dish of viruses just waiting for the wrong clink on a page. As it's 5:03 A.M. and the rest of the civilized world is in bed (where I should be as well), I'm not posting much right now. I have tons of random shit to talk about, and I will post lots more later.
